STOPTECH was founded in March of 1999 as a brake technology company. The founding partners came from backgrounds in racing, engineering and manufacturing, including racecar design and fabrication, brake component manufacturing and performance aftermarket distribution. STOPTECH has filed four patents in basic brake technology, which are utilized in the products they manufacture. They design and manufacture their own race quality AeroRotors™ and calipers, as well as all their other big brake kit components. Located in Torrance, California, STOPTECH is positioned to continue developing and delivering the most technically advanced brake products available for racing and the performance aftermarket. Their rotors are made at ISO-9001 and QS9000 registered facilities.
